About the riddle:
The riddle has no name at the moment. What it is is a game. You can play it with just your browser for the most part. The objective is to get from the start page to the finish page. There are many pages in between. It starts with level 1 and ends at.. erm. In all truthfulness, I can't remember. I'm sure it had an end.. er.. it ends somewhere. I'm sure. Mostly. Beat the riddle and you will be entered into the hall of fame. There's some rumours going around that the riddle has achieved conciousness and has started creating levels by itself that I don't know about. Just rumours I'm sure.
There are hints available on this board. After the first few levels and you've got the hang of the game, I recommend them as a last resort only. The less help you receive on a level, the better it will feel when you solve it. Trust me. That feeling of satisfaction and cleverness is what the whole game is about. Strive for it and enjoy it.
There are no real rules. Get to the next page by any means possible. The only two rules I can think of are don't hack the website and don't just have someone else tell you the answers. They only exist for your own good, as there is nothing to gain from cheating your way through. Fun is the only product of the game, and it's only produced by genuine effort. Feel free to join the forums and ask any questions you like. Obviously spoilers can't be given but if it looks like you've tried hard enough someone might be able to nudge you in the right direction.
Boring Background Info:
This riddle began as a tribute to riddles like Notpron and Zest, convinced upon finishing Notpron that "Hey, I could do something like that!" I decided to well, do it. While it started off just being a clone It has evolved and is evolving into its own style and story. Ultimately all I'm out to do is make something fun and remotely interesting. And challenging .
The difficulty curve has been designed to be somewhat smoother than Notpron, maintaining challenge while truly endeavouring to get as many people as possible into the heart of the game. And to make sure everyone has a good chance of getting to the last few levels, and saving the real struggle for those that want to branch off, find secret levels and challenge themselves to the point of blunt unfairness. _________________ Greyfox/Meh
